Born in Lausanne, Switzerland, Dan Martin began his career in 1996, inspired by pioneers such as Dave Clark, Laurent Garnier and Carl Cox. He started out in Swiss house clubs and worked with European producers. In 2000, his Vespa 63 project and the hit “Electrisher” reached the international charts, followed by the success of “You’re Ready for Me” with DJ Spoke. After producing and remixing over 150 tracks, he explores tech house, house and minimal, while composing for commercials. Resident of the MAD in Lausanne for 10 years, he plays in the best Swiss clubs and events. For the past 12 years, he has been producing the “Essential Mix” podcast, featuring musical discoveries and sets by star DJs every week.

Biography

Born in Lausanne, Switzerland, Dan Martin began his career in 1996.

Producer:

Inspired by house and electronic music pioneers such as Dave Clark, Laurent Garnier and Carl Cox, he began his career in Swiss house clubs and soon began collaborating with numerous producers in Europe.

The 2000s. With the Vespa 63 project, his hit Electrisher (Progressivestate records) topped the German, Italian, Dutch and English dance charts. A few weeks later, “You’re ready for me”, co-produced with Dj Spoke, became a Dance Hit in many countries.

The 2010s. After producing and remixing over 150 releases for Europe’s most prestigious labels and winning an Ericssen Dance Award, he changed his name and embarked on a new musical universe of teak house, house and minimal. In his studio he also composes music for commercials.

Resident for more than 10 years at Lausanne’s famous and prestigious MAD, he distils his sets in top clubs such as the Q club Zurich,

OXA, Gate One, Amnesia, Guayas, NY club, Limathaus Zurich and the country’s most popular events: Street Parade, Energy, Mainstation, Goliath, Montreux Jazz Festival.
